I was traveling on Friday so was not able to publish the newsletter but I’m back in PR and ready to go.
Markets dropped on Friday apparently after remarks from Fed Governor, Bullard. It seems that he believes rates should start moving higher next year. That is not in line with what Powell believes but at some point we will all need to wean ourselves from the Fed liquidity bottle. It is certainly better to have mini corrections rather than on big one and it will be very interesting to see how the Fed eventually threads the needle.
Today, markets are higher but starting to drift down. It’s really a coin toss today but it would make sense to see a bit move selling before markets go higher but the market does not really care what I think!
